A few years ago when I was planning to move to New Zealand I started to explore business options which would align with my field of work and past experience as an Interior Designer. I found the opportunity of owning a Dream Doors franchise a great way to have my own business and yet be part of a well established company with systems and processes in place.
The induction training provided by Dream Doors, along with guidance on the various aspects of business administration and periodic reviews have proven to be very helpful in establishing and growing my business. The Franchise Management System (FMS) is very robust, helping us keep track of the enquiries, sales and marketing ROI. This is a fantastic help for new Franchisees.
Response to the marketing efforts has been fantastic. In the 3 years since becoming a franchisee I have always had lots of leads, and have been able to close a good number of orders with very healthy profit margins. I have found the concept of Kitchen facelifts to be very popular in New Zealand and customers are very interested in this option.
While the first few months were indeed very challenging, the support and guidance I received from Dream Doors and Derek Lilly, our group CEO, at each step along the way has been invaluable in steadily growing my business.
In 2021 I was thrilled to be a finalist in the Franchise New Zealand Association awards (FANZ) for Home & Lifestyle Franchisee of The Year.
I would definitely recommend Dream Doors to any one interested in purchasing a franchise and owing a lucrative business in Kitchen renovations.
