We had just finished renovating our kitchen with a less than desirable completion and felt flat about the whole process. We had been looking at business opportunities and Dream Doors Kitchens came up. We liked the idea of this business as we had just completed our own kitchen and a franchise was a great way to start a business without reinventing the wheel and have a network of people to help with the start-up and also bounce ideas off.
We emailed and Derek and he basically came back immediately, answered questions and was very approachable and open. Through the next few months the support, training and web systems provided ensured we hit the ground running when we started in February 2019. We were informed what to expect in the first 3, 6 and 12 month periods of owning the business. These details were clearly laid out in the company manual. This information was fantastic to have when going into business for the very first time.
Derek and the management team are constantly on hand to provide support and guidance and so are the other franchisees. We are very happy with the progress of our business in the first three years having two franchise areas. It doesn’t come without challenges but it is definitely the best move we have both made, professionally and personally.
I would highly recommend anyone interested in opening a franchise, even with no previous self-employment or industry experience, to start the process of purchasing a Dream Doors Franchise.
